Amphibian Biology Lecture: Spring Breeding Season

Location: Community Room, East Buffalo Township Building, 589 Fairground Road, Lewisburg, PA
Guest Host: Dr. Mizuki Takahashi, Department of Biology, Bucknell University
Join local amphibian expert for this indoor presentation about the natural history of the spring breeding season for salamanders and other amphibians of Pennsylvania. Participants will learn how to identify local amphibian species and discover where and when to look for them.
For adults and older children only. Parent(s) required to accompany children. Registration required.

Tree Walk Program Series: Arbor Day Tree Walk in Downtown Lewisburg

Location: Hufnagle Park (start at the pavilion), Lewisburg, PA 17837
Guest Hosts: Dr. Chris Martine, David Burpee Professor in Plant Genetics and Research and Biology Chair at Bucknell University and members of the Lewisburg Borough Shade Tree Commission.
Join Bucknell Biology professor and Certified Tree Expert Dr. Chris Martine on a stroll through downtown Lewisburg. Participants will learn to identify a number of common tree species. Event is co-sponsored by Lewisburg Borough Shade Tree Commission. The walk will begin and end at the Hufnagle Park, where an Arbor Day ceremony will take place at 4:30.
All ages welcome. Parent(s) required to accompany children. Registration required.
