Conservation Successes
As of June 2010, the Merrill Linn Conservancy in partnership with landowners has permanently protected a total of 665 acres in Union, Snyder and upper Northumberland counties. The Conservancy holds title to one wetland parcel of nearly 33 acres in Northumberland County. Permanently protected through conservation easements are five parcels in Union County totaling 362 acres, two in Northumberland County (104 acres), and two (166 acres), with a third nearly completed, in Snyder County.
